The Trinity : Comments
« on: August 18, 2018, 11:19:58 pm »

There are all types of speculation as to the Trinity in the KJV of the Bible. While the Word "Trinity" is not specifically used, the Trinity is shown throughout its pages.

However, there is no place in the Bible more telling about the Trinity than Psalm 2.

Here is a break down of the 4 sections of the Trinity talking among themselves about how Mankind can raise up against the Lord Our GOD.

*************

Psalm2:

In psalm 2 we have all three speaking to each other.

Psalm 2:2....."The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying,"

The Annointed is Jesus Christ and the Lord is God(the father) "against the LORD, and against his anointed," 'HIS' is the key.

The Holy Spirit is peaking here! Psalm 2:1-5

******
In Psalm 2:6.."Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion."

I have set MY King (Jesus) on my Holy Hill in Jerusalem

God (the Father is speaking) in this section.psalm 2:6-8

*************
In Psalm 2:9.."Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel."

Notice "a rod of iron;" is used in Rev 2:27;12:5;19:15 referring to Jesus Christ.

The Potter's vessel is of course referring to the judgment of God (the Father ) against the Nation of Israel as in Jer 19:11

Jesus Christ is speaking in this section: Psalm 9-11

************

Psalm 2:12."Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him."

God (the Father) is again speaking in Psalm 2:12

Pretty amazing how the book of Psalms can speak to us like today's headlines! The 'rod of iron' reference was a great example. All 66 books fit together perfectly. Why some wish to remove some books and add apocryphal books is a mystery to me. Well, really it is no mystery. Some don't know the Word of God when they see it.

Funny story....not sure it really has to do with the trinity specifically but it does have to do with evidence...as per the video.

I was once talking on a forum to a group of atheists.  They wanted to know about evidence for God.  So we began talking.  Soon enough it was just them and myself.  I asked them what they would accept as evidence.  Some said, "God coming to earth" which I laughed at and told them He already did so they had no excuse.  Others said miracles today...so anyway, this went on and on and finally we began to talk about some of the ways God worked in my life.  By the time we were done talking, they all said, "if we had experiences like that we would believe."  I said, then seek God and you will see...to which they replied no they would not.

God reveals Himself to those whose hearts are open to Him, who want to know Him, who seek Him above all else.  May we be such a people.

Have spent many hours on Atheist's forum, trying to figure them out, spreading the WORD and getting it thrown back into my face. What most Atheist want and need is for GOD to perform an miracle right in front of them much like the pharisees did to Jesus.

Well, it is very likely they will get their miracle. That is when the Miracles start happening with the False Prophet at the helm. After the Rapture, only non-believers will initially be left on earth. The Bible tells us in Mat 24:24 "For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect."

that same group of atheists decided that my survival of being hit by a train (full story in my intro here) was not a true miracle for two reasons...1. I could not reproduce the same results in a lab type setting (lol isn't that what a miracle is?  Something that cannot be reproduced?) and 2. after the car came to a stop, a force that could not be seen or felt, pulled down on the car and continued to crush it after being hit and thrown from the tracks and after I got out of the car and walked to the road..(real believable huh?)  For these two reasons, they refused to accept it as a miracle....I just laughed and continued talking to them till they agreed that if some of the things that God has done in my life, He would do in theirs they would believe...I suggest that nothing would convince them given the above.

Lori, Atheist around the world will NOT recognize anything that might even suggest divine providence. Having worked in the Medical Field for some twenty-five years, I have seen a lot of things that I would consider a miracle.

The majority of those events, happened during and after vehicular accidents like yours.

They believe in Nothingness and after this life, one's self just goes away. It is almost like they are afraid to contemplate a creation deity could exist. You might say they have been blinded and it will not get any better.

It seems God has Blessed you and spared your life. I suspect HE still had something for you to do in later years. When you find out, let us know.

God is Great!

Well, He has done a lot in my life and it would take a very long time to tell it all

Our youngest son calls himself an agnostic (long story, all my kids need prayer and that is all I want to say about that in public)  anyway, one time he and I were just talking and I asked him what he would do if Christ came back and took his dad and I as in the rapture.  He said he would find all the money he could find in the house, take all the bibles he could find, and go out and preach to everyone left on earth.  I asked him if that was true, why didn't he believe....he had no good reason.  I found the discussion and all too realist for how many people view God and a relationship with Him.  So many people have to make excuses for hard hearts rather than simply softening their hearts and listening to the still small voice of the Living God.

God has and is using me in a lot of different ways.  Even through this physical issue that I am now battling, God is using me and it to further the Kingdom.  To list it all would be cumbersome and a bit more "prideful" sounding than I am comfortable doing.
