The WORD of GOD

For all those that can read and DOUBT that Jesus is GOD then the KJV tells you otherwise in three scriptures.

1 Jn 5:7: “For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.”

John 1:1..(KJV).."In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."

Rev 19: 11-13:(KJV)..
."And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war." V12 ..His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. v13...And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God."

(The WORD of GOD is Jesus Christ)

Note: I gave all three verses of the second coming of Jesus Christ so there would be no mistake about what HIS (Jesus') name is....THE WORD of GOD.

*** If we look closely, we will see the KJV tells that GOD was a MAN also!

John 1:14..
"And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth."

Yes. I was taught the trinity in Catholic school but only by signaling Father, Son, Holy Ghost as we entered the church and the pews. Later in life when I read John 1 and the Revelation, I knew for certain what God is telling us in the Bible.

So tell me Patrick, can you explain to me (in your own words, so that I know you get it) what Phil. 2:8-9 is conveying?
Phi 2:8  And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
Phi 2:9  Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
Think about this carefully because my next questions will be:
Could Jesus have refused to humble himself? And if so, what would have happened if Jesus hadn't humbled himself? Think carefully about the word 'wherefore' in the context of what is said.

I pay more attention to the words: being found "in fashion" as a man. . . Jesus could not have refused because God cannot deny Himself.

Geoff, said: "Could Jesus have refused to humble himself? "

Jesus as a man had a free will yet He had something we do not have....He did not have the "inheritence of Sin" from Adam....His Blood was not of Man but of GOD and woman. He had NO internal urging to sin at every opportunity.

Patrick,:Had Jesus known what He did after His death; He would be in agreement with your statement.

While He was in the Flesh it is clear, he did NOT know as a GOD, what was going on and what was to happen...Otherwise He would not have preached the Gospel of the Kingdom of Heaven to the Jews, He would not have prayed to His father to stop the happening at Gethsemane (Mat 26:39).
