I don't really want to get into a wrangle too much, it is bad enough fighting off the ant-semites. You present them with what really are unassailable scriptures which they simply ignore and present scriptures which they cherry pick that seem to support their own view, and they are so dishonest.

But to simply state my case 

You can read the early chapters of any of the prophets and see from them that they were to be punished and eventually removed from the land, the outlook is bleak. "Oh that my head was a fountain of tears" cries Jeremiah when he sees the evil that will fall upon his people.

Folks read these prophecies and that's where they get their idea that Israel is going to cop it big time.

But they are looking in the wrong place. They are reading the FALL of Israel which we all know about. But as well as the fall of Israel all the prophets tell about the eventual RISE of Israel, their restoration and for this you have to read the later chapters of Jeremiah, Isaiah, Ezekiel etc.

Let me zero in to the matter at hand, how Israel will fare in the last days.

Jeremiah ch.30.v.3-11
[/For behold the days are coming says the Lord when I will restore the fortunes of My people, Israel and Judah says the Lord, and I will bring them back to the land which I gave to their fathers and they shall take possession of it.

These are the words which the Lord spoke concerning Israel and Judah

Thus says the Lord
we have heard a cry of panic, of terror and not peace,
ask now  and see, can a man bear a child?
why then do I see every man with his hands on his loins like a woman in labour?
why has every face turned pale?

Alas! that day is so great  there is none like it, it is the time of Jacob's trouble

BUT

he shall be saved out of it

and it shall come to pass in that day says the Lord of hosts that I will break the yoke off their necks and I will burst their bonds and strangers shall no more make servants of them. But they shall serve the Lord their God and David their king whom I will raise up for them.

So FEAR NOT O Jacob My servant, BE NOT DISMAYED O Israel for lo I will SAVE YOU from afar and your offspring from the land of their captivity

Jacob shall return AND HAVE QUIET AND EASE AND NONE SHALL MAKE HIM AFRAID. for I am with you to SAVE you says the Lord
I will make a full end of all the nations among whom I scattered you but of you I will not make a full end.
I will chasten you in just measure and I will by no means leave you unpunished.

You see from this that the time of Jacob's trouble is in view or the Great Trouble, like no other before or since. The Great Tribulation.

But God says they will be saved, they will even be at ease and none shall make them afraid.

Now the later prophecies concerning Israel in Isaiah and Ezekiel say exactly the same thing, it is the time of vindication for the Jews.

Daniel.12.v.1=3
At that time shall arise Michael the great prince who has charge of your people. And there shall be a time of trouble such as has never been since there was a nation till that time

BUT

at that time your people shall be delivered. Every one whose name shall be found written in the book. And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

And those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the firmament and those who turn many to righteousness like the stars forever and ever.

You see it again, the time of great trouble, and the Jews are delivered.
