Washington state mayor now calls BLM protests ‘domestic terrorism’ after her home vandalized
[/b]

A Washington state mayor was fine with the Black Lives Matter protests that followed George Floyd’s death in police custody.

But that was until vandals damaged her home, according to reports.

Now, Mayor Cheryl Selby of Olympia refers to the protests as “domestic terrorism,” according to The Olympian.

“I’m really trying to process this,” Selby told the newspaper Saturday, after the rioters’ Friday night spree left her front door and porch covered with spray-painted messages. “It’s like domestic terrorism. It’s unfair.

Another BLM supporter, ESPN writer Chris Martin Palmer, who commented “Burn it all down,” when retweeting a photo of a Minneapolis building in flames in late May, had a different reaction when rioters came close to his house, The Sporting News reported.

“Get these animals TF out of my neighborhood,” Palmer wrote. “Go back to where you live.”

‘Tear Them Down’: Black Lives Matter Activist Shaun King Demands ‘White European’ Jesus Statues Be Removed

Black Lives Matter activist Shaun King called Monday for the removal of statues, murals and stained glass windows that depict Jesus as a “white European,” which he claimed “are a form of white supremacy.”

“Yes, I think the statues of the white European they claim is Jesus should also come down,” King, a former surrogate on Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders’s 2020 presidential campaign, wrote on Twitter. “They are a form of white supremacy. Always have been.”

“All murals and stained glass windows of white Jesus, and his European mother, and their white friends should also come down,” King wrote in a second tweet. “They are a gross form of white supremacy.”

State Senator Attacked As Unrest Gripped Wisconsin State Capitol

MADISON, WI — A Wisconsin State Senator says he was attacked by "eight to ten people" Tuesday night as civil unrest gripped the State Capitol. The Wisconsin State Capitol was besieged by protesters, and police say two statues were torn down in the fracas.

State Sen. Tim Carpenter said he was punched and kicked in the head, neck and ribs. He is concerned that he may have a concussion.

"Capitol locked - stuck in office. Stop violence now, please!" he wrote Tuesday night.

Lance Veeser, a sports reporter from WKOW said a television crew was working at the state capitol covering the unrest when they came across Carpenter, who appeared to be passed out on the street. Veeser said Carpenter collapsed as he was walking toward the Capitol. Fellow journalists called paramedics, summoning an ambulance to treat his injuries.

Forgive my language, but I don’t care about being “senatorial” anymore. The time for platitudes is over. This is b*******t," he angrily said Wednesday morning. “The role of police is to protect life first, property second. Last night in Madison, Madison police did neither. An innocent bystander, a state senator who has largely stood with the BLM movement, was attacked for watching and taking a picture. I am praying Tim will be okay."

The nation is accelerating  the process of which the believers in the left will only be living in those areas and the conservative will be living in those.

Businesses sue Seattle over 'occupied' protest zone'

SEATTLE (AP)By GENE JOHNSON, Associated Press — A collection of Seattle businesses, property owners and residents sued the city Wednesday over its tolerance of an “occupied” protest zone, saying officials have been complicit in depriving them of their rights to their property.

The plaintiffs — including a tattoo parlor, auto repair shop and property management firm — emphasized in the lawsuit that they were not trying to undermine the anti-police-brutality or Black Lives Matter messaging of the “Capitol Hill Occupied Protest.”

“Rather, this lawsuit is about the constitutional and other legal rights of plaintiffs — businesses, employees, and residents in and around CHOP — which have been overrun by the city of Seattle’s unprecedented decision to abandon and close off an entire city neighborhood, leaving it unchecked by the police, unserved by fire and emergency health services, and inaccessible to the public at large,” the lawsuit said.

The Seattle City Attorney’s Office said it had not yet seen the lawsuit but would review it.

The protest has drawn the scorn of President Donald Trump, who asserted it was being run by anarchists.

Patty Eakes, an attorney for the plaintiffs, separately told Durkan in a letter Wednesday that she wanted the mayor's office to provide a timeline by Friday for clearing out the protest and returning police, or the plaintiffs would ask the court for an immediate order that full public access be restored.

In the class-action lawsuit, filed in U.S. District Court, about a dozen businesses, residents and property owners said they had sometimes been threatened for photographing protesters in public areas or for cleaning graffiti off their storefronts. The owner of the auto shop Car Tender said a burglar broke in the night of June 14, started a fire using hand sanitizer as an accelerant, and then attacked his son with a knife when confronted.

The owner and his son managed to put out the fire and detain the burglar, the complaint said, but police never responded to their 911 calls. A large crowd of “CHOP participants” then came to the scene and forced the owner to release the arsonist, it said.

Other businesses, including the family-run label manufacturing company Richmark Label, said they had been unable to send or receive packages because delivery companies won't go near the protest zone or because access to their loading dock had been blocked by barricades.

Magdalena Sky, the proprietor of Tattoos and Fortune, said in the complaint she is a supporter of Black Lives Matter but that her business was down severely due to the protest. A physical therapist and wine shop also said clients or customers had been afraid to enter the area.

The complaint said that the city's decision to turn over the blocks and a nearby park to the demonstrators deprived them of their property rights without due process and amounted to an illegal gift of public property to the protesters.

The plaintiffs are seeking damages for lost business, property damage and deprivation of their property rights as well as the restoration of full public access.

It looks like there is going to be a lawsuit against the city of Atlanta if they allow this to continue. People are already getting physically attacked and threatened at gunpoint by protesters.

Atlanta leaders address concerns of protester blocked zone near torched Wendy's
Updated 8 hrs ago | Posted on Jun 24, 2020

ATLANTA, Ga. (CBS46) -- A group of armed people set up an autonomous zone around the burned-out Wendy’s on University Avenue during the past week.

Adam Murphy
@MurphyCBS46
#Developing:  @Atlanta_Police respond to autonomous zone at @Wendys.  “APD is monitoring the situation and plans to coordinate with community leaders and the Wendy’s property owner to address security issues and help preserve peace for this community as soon as possible.” @cbs46

The group took over the area after Rayshard Brooks got into a scuffle with police and was gunned down by an officer in the parking lot.

For the past few days armed people have blocked police and others from passing through the zone. CBS46 asked Atlanta City Council President Felicia Moore if it was acceptable.

“Well of course it’s not acceptable for anybody to block off a public road and to determine who can use that road or not use that road,” Moore said.

Moore went on to say they have been working to clear the road and restore order using a phased approach.

“What I understand, there are various groups of people there because when I was there, they were arguing with each other which is when I left because you have armed people arguing with each other doesn’t turn into anything good,” Moore said.

they are not there because of inequality but rather to bring down a nation...It would seems they are doing a pretty good job of it.
