Where were the police?

The Mayor?  The Governor? Their illustrious members of congress and senators?

I heard many of them say things like-- We couldn't guarantee the safety of our officers so we pulled them back...

Which had the obvious consequence of a free for all for the looters to smash and grab anything and everything they wanted, to destroy and to set aflame.


Can you imagine America being invaded by China, and our President and Pentagon Leaders saying-- Well, we couldn't guarantee the safety of our soldiers so we pulled them back... good luck America- we have to let the invaders do and take whatever they want.

It's a disgrace what is happening.  Those folks in charge-- they have a duty to protect and serve by empowering those paid to protect and serve.  They could end this in a day.
