My Philosophy professor stated that there is no right or wrong in philosophy, just your own viewpoint.   That was a great thing to be told to us at the start of the journey.

I have always like the Socratic method of debate and conversation, enough I modified it some to fit me.  I am intrigued by Kant, but can barely understand it.  Descartes and Kirkergard are worth the time to read even at a basic level.

I hope that as time passes now that I know this thread is still active to get some thoughts and discussion going.

Say each prayer as if it is your very last conversation with God and live each day as your last day to glorify God by your actions and words.

My rule of spiritual life.  6/22/2021

Philosophy is one of those subjects that can get one into trouble real quick.

1 Cor 15:3-4.."For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:"

Acts 17:11.."These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so."

Greek Philosophy Before Socrates

Socrates, his student Plato, and Plato's student Aristotle are often credited with founding Western philosophy. Nevertheless, even great thinkers do not emerge ex nihilo, but rather are born into an existing context and paradigm that the build from, respond to, and react against.

John Hamer of Toronto Centre Place looks at the Pre-Socratic philosophers and how their ideas created the ground from which Socrates' own thought emerged.

This is Forbidden Content on this Platform, Hopefully I'm Fine

I shall have to occupy your attention, for some little time, with the career of this abandoned, unhappy, but most extraordinary man. It was in his day and by his means that the Atheism which occupies us this evening became perfected, generalized, and organized for the destruction of Christianity, Christian civilization, and all Religion.

I Found an Old Book That Tell History of The Elites Who Rule The World Today

I mention these facts and dates in order to let you see that precisely at the period when the Elites was thus extending aboard, the infidelity, which has been introduced by Bayle and openly advocated by Voltaire, was being disseminated largely amongst the corrupt nobility of France and Europe generally.
