This should make for an interesting question...we usually consider that Christ was given for man and leave it there, but why would God create man? What does God gain from man that He doesn't gain from the rest of His creation?

A wife.
why not use the angels?
Please consider:
angel is a job description, not a race or species. There was only one species created which is created in the image of GOD. All differences between folk are due to the consequences of the free will decision to sin.

To Glorify GOD.

According to John 17:1 (KJV).." These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee:"

Blade

How does man glorify God?

LORI without going into a long drawn out response; To Glorify GOD would be to :
(1) praise and worship (God).
(2) describe or represent as admirable, especially unjustifiably1.

God made man in His image. God also made Jesus in His Image and called Him SON. Throughout Christ’s lifetime, He manifested (displayed or show (a quality or feeling) by one's acts or appearance; demonstrate.), the Father’s image perfectly; ". He thereby glorified GOD.

For in John 17:1(KJV)...."These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee:"

Through Jesus Christ and HIS Grace, those of mankind who are believers of His Gospel, glorify HIM through praise, worship, and thanksgiving as they are called "Sons of GOD"

Rom 8:14.."For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God."

For the Bride of Christ, will worship Him from the mezzanine and throw their crowns before the throne as seen in:

Rev. 4:10.."The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying,"

Hope this helps you, Blessings

Oh, I apologize. Let me try a little simpler method!....

You said:"How does man glorify God?"

Man Glorifies GOD by: simply believing in the Gospel of Jesus Christ, by worshiping Him, by following His laws (obedience) and walking in the footsteps of Jesus.

hope this helps!

I see.
Hearing, believing and trusting the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross; His death, burial and resurrection for the forgiveness of sins, the gospel of our salvation, and repenting, seals us with that Holy Spirit of Promise. The Lord is not slack concerning His promise. 2 Peter 3:9 KJV - 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 KJV - Ephesians 1:10-14 KJV - Romans 10:9-10 KJV - Romans 10:13 - Romans 10:17 - Ephesians 1:7 KJV - Colossians 1:14 KJV -

Then when everyone is perfectly holy and sanctified, what happens? The Marriage of the Lamb, the start of the full and perfect telepathic communion of everyone in the heavenly state with everyone else in the heavenly state, GOD included.

Only if you are looking at my words for evil intent...

The next thing that happens to all holy people is the Marriage of the Lamb. It doesn't stop with holiness - it ends with the marriage so I presume that is the ultimate purpose for HIS creation, our marriage to HIM, the reason we were created in HIS image.

How does GOD communicate with HIS angels? It must be by telepathy, right? What is communion? Fellowship at the deepest level, ie  marriage.

Result of search for "communion": from 2844; partnership, i.e. (literally) participation, or (social) intercourse, or (pecuniary) benefaction:--(to) communicate(-ation), communion, (contri-)distribution, fellowship.

Where have I gone wrong that you insinuate I must be mocking heaven? Perhaps you are just not paying attention to what is implied about it in scripture...

what makes you think that God talks telepathically with the angels?  I don't know where you are getting that idea from

Well let me see.
- Angels are spirits and though they manifest bodies here on earth, in heaven I do not believe they have bodies. I do not believe yet that there is physicality in heaven but I will listen to arguments. When the spirit Michael flung down Satan to the earth he flung down a non-bodied spirit to Sheol in the center of the earth.

- GOD seems to talk to HIS angels over great distances: Dan 9:23 At the beginning of thy supplications the commandment came forth, which implies to me that he received it at a distance or he might have said, GOD gave me the command or told me to go to you... But anyway, the angel of Daniel 10 was with the kings of Persia when he was told to attend to Daniel... long distance communication without ears.

- When the universe was created all the sons of GOD sang HIS praise, Job 38:7. Does this not imply they had a reality, a life before this creation which they saw but in SPIRIT only,  ie, no eyes, no ears, no mouths or vocal cords. How can they have done what they were said to do; SEE the creation, SING HIS praise, before anything physical was created unless by telepathy?

How can there be sound passed thru empty space if heaven is 'above' us, outside our earthly realm? ? How can spirits HEAR without ears? SING without vocal cords. SEE without eyes?

Obviously the scripture is using human reference words to what they were doing without trying to describe what actually happened, that is, telepathic communication. And since they were praising HIM, this communication had emotional content.

Angels around the throne praise GOD:

Doe this imply it is a physical place:? If not...it must all be mental, ie, telepathic.

Revelation 5:11 “Then I looked, and I heard the voice of many angels around the throne and the living creatures and the elders; and the number of them was myriads of myriads, and thousands of thousands.”

Psalm 148:2 “Praise Him, all His angels; Praise Him, all His hosts!”
Did they have to wait till the universe was created so they had  air and sound vibrations to sing HIS praise?

Nehemiah 9:6  You preserve them all, and the angels of heaven worship you.
Was this all silent worship?

again it seems to me you are reading way too much into scripture that is not there, so I will just post this passage for you to consider...I Kings 19:9And he came thither unto a cave, and lodged there; and, behold, the word of the LORD came to him, and he said unto him, What doest thou here, Elijah? 10And he said, I have been very jealous for the LORD God of hosts: for the children of Israel have forsaken thy covenant, thrown down thine altars, and slain thy prophets with the sword; and I, even I only, am left; and they seek my life, to take it away.

11And he said, Go forth, and stand upon the mount before the LORD. And, behold, the LORD passed by, and a great and strong wind rent the mountains, and brake in pieces the rocks before the LORD; but the LORD was not in the wind: and after the wind an earthquake; but the LORD was not in the earthquake: 12And after the earthquake a fire; but the LORD was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice. 13And it was so, when Elijah heard it, that he wrapped his face in his mantle, and went out, and stood in the entering in of the cave. And, behold, there came a voice unto him, and said, What doest thou here, Elijah? 14And he said, I have been very jealous for the LORD God of hosts: because the children of Israel have forsaken thy covenant, thrown down thine altars, and slain thy prophets with the sword; and I, even I only, am left; and they seek my life, to take it away.

15And the LORD said unto him, Go, return on thy way to the wilderness of Damascus: and when thou comest, anoint Hazael to be king over Syria: 16And Jehu the son of Nimshi shalt thou anoint to be king over Israel: and Elisha the son of Shaphat of Abelmeholah shalt thou anoint to be prophet in thy room. 17And it shall come to pass, that him that escapeth the sword of Hazael shall Jehu slay: and him that escapeth from the sword of Jehu shall Elisha slay. 18Yet I have left me seven thousand in Israel, all the knees which have not bowed unto Baal, and every mouth which hath not kissed him.

and this one...Exodus 3:1Now Moses kept the flock of Jethro his father in law, the priest of Midian: and he led the flock to the backside of the desert, and came to the mountain of God, even to Horeb. 2And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed. 3And Moses said, I will now turn aside, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt. 4And when the LORD saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I. 5And he said, Draw not nigh hither: put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground. 6Moreover he said, I am the God of thy father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. And Moses hid his face; for he was afraid to look upon God.

7And the LORD said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people which are in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrows; 8And I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land unto a good land and a large, unto a land flowing with milk and honey; unto the place of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites. 9Now therefore, behold, the cry of the children of Israel is come unto me: and I have also seen the oppression wherewith the Egyptians oppress them.

10Come now therefore, and I will send thee unto Pharaoh, that thou mayest bring forth my people the children of Israel out of Egypt. 11And Moses said unto God, Who am I, that I should go unto Pharaoh, and that I should bring forth the children of Israel out of Egypt? 12And he said, Certainly I will be with thee; and this shall be a token unto thee, that I have sent thee: When thou hast brought forth the people out of Egypt, ye shall serve God upon this mountain.

13And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them? 14And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you. 15And God said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, The LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: this is my name for ever, and this is my memorial unto all generations. 16Go, and gather the elders of Israel together, and say unto them, The LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, of Isaac, and of Jacob, appeared unto me, saying, I have surely visited you, and seen that which is done to you in Egypt: 17And I have said, I will bring you up out of the affliction of Egypt unto the land of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, unto a land flowing with milk and honey. 18And they shall hearken to thy voice: and thou shalt come, thou and the elders of Israel, unto the king of Egypt, and ye shall say unto him, The LORD God of the Hebrews hath met with us: and now let us go, we beseech thee, three days' journey into the wilderness, that we may sacrifice to the LORD our God. 19And I am sure that the king of Egypt will not let you go, no, not by a mighty hand. 20And I will stretch out my hand, and smite Egypt with all my wonders which I will do in the midst thereof: and after that he will let you go. 21And I will give this people favour in the sight of the Egyptians: and it shall come to pass, that, when ye go, ye shall not go empty: 22But every woman shall borrow of her neighbour, and of her that sojourneth in her house, jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and raiment: and ye shall put them upon your sons, and upon your daughters; and ye shall spoil the Egyptians.

Both of which show God to be doing more than telepathy...take it or leave it.
