If there were not limits...
« on: December 08, 2020, 06:58:15 am »
If there were no limits to what you could give or receive for Christmas this year, what would you give or receive?  For this discussion, we are focused only on one thing, not one for what you would give and another for what you would receive...iow's you have to pick either giving or receiving.

I would give but wow, "anything"? Well, in an imaginary game like this I would give the gospels to someone who is lost and not saved or preferably a large group of lost souls and the information I imparted would be absorbed and they would all believe and repent and have eternal life with God in heaven.

If we are being more realistic I love the Make A Wish Foundation and I would pick as many as I could to give hope and joy to children who will soon die. Good topic Lori.

Now with more time to think about this I might offer something better.
Hearing, believing and trusting the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross; His death, burial and resurrection for the forgiveness of sins and REPENTING, seals us with that Holy Spirit of Promise - EPHESIANS 1:10-14 KJV - The Lord is not slack concerning His promise. 2 Peter 3:9 KJV - 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 KJV - Ephesians 1:10-14 KJV - Romans 10:9-10 KJV - Romans 10:13 - Romans 10:17 - Ephesians 1:7 KJV - Colossians 1:14 KJV -

I love your answers, thanks...my answer would be similar to your first here...I would give everyone the vision to see Christ for who He is, the desire to serve Him alone, and the courage to fall into Him.  My answer has a lot to do with some people in my life that are struggling hard against God's call on their lives but I also realize that if I have family and friends I care that much about, others do as well and all of them are dear to God's heart so how could I leave any of them out?

I'm not sure I have a back up yet...I'll think on it.
