I'm afraid I'm missing something important...
The Christian Church was founded almost 300 years after "Jesus Christ" was executed. So "how" could he love the church at all?

That's besides that I believe that if Jesus of Nazareth would see the modern day worshipping ceremonies  by people that call themselves "Christians" in his honour, he would call out most of them (save perhaps some poor homeless people with nobody to turn to) as hypocrites.

"Christians" seem to be happy that Jesus was murdered by a corrupt legal system, designed to protect the big criminals. When "Christians" walk around with the cross that looks like they're celebrating his execution.

Sometimes "Christians" tell me that I should be happy that Jesus died for our sins...
I think it was an evil act to murder him, and am certainly not "happy" about this!
How would Jesus "judge" Christians who celebrate his exection in this way?
