I concur
Hearing, believing and trusting the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross; His death, burial and resurrection for the forgiveness of sins, the gospel of our salvation, and repenting, seals us with that Holy Spirit of Promise. The Lord is not slack concerning His promise. 2 Peter 3:9 KJV - 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 KJV - Ephesians 1:10-14 KJV - Romans 10:9-10 KJV - Romans 10:13 - Romans 10:17 - Ephesians 1:7 KJV - Colossians 1:14 KJV -

1 Cor 15:3-4.."For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:"

Acts 17:11.."These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so."

I remember the day I was sitting, looking out over the river pondering my eternal state with God and this question popped into my head.

If God came to you right now and guaranteed that you were saved no matter what you did, how you behaved or how you treated your body, what would you start doing differently?

So I pass this question on to anyone caring to answer it.  If you can do anything you want to do and still be saved, what would you start doing and what would you stop doing.
I don't think it's a good idea for me to go there, doing anything I wanted to do even if I was still saved. There was even a time when I wanted some payback. But God helped me to move beyond that.

There are some things I would stop doing. Like beating myself up about little things. Worrying and stressing about some things that are in the past. Worrying about things that I can't change or have no control over. Letting things that other people say get to me.

What I would like to start doing; spending more time with my family, children and grandchildren. Get more exercise. Eat more healthy food. Improve my health. Improve my memory. Have more energy. Eliminate my pain. ...Grow even more closer to God.  :)
