Interesting?  I have always wondered about OSAS.  I suppose it all comes down to the way you view it.  God is omnipotent so He must know the ultimate fate of each man and thus know the ones that will be saved and those that will be lost.  Therefore from God's perspective it is OSAS.  But we are human and definitely NOT omnipotent so we can't know that.

We are saved by God through our faith so the only reason that I can see for losing it would be if we lost our faith.  Obedience and repentance appear to be part of the growth and discipline that Christ's yoke puts on us but thank God it is a training yoke.

Since it is our faith that connects us to God's salvation it would seem that the only way satan can attack and defeat us would be to destroy our faith since that is the only part that is our's to play.  I think that the devil knows this.  He knows that no matter how many times he gets us to mess up, God's grace abounds all the more.  It follows then that the only purpose in getting us to mess up is not to get us kicked out but to get us looking at ourselves and thinking God can't save us, thus destroying our faith.

Those are my thoughts on it anyway.
