How does God lavish His Love on us in the here and now?

We are lavished with salvation and forgiveness even while we are enemies....
Romans 5:8,10...But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us...For if, when we were God's enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life!

We are lavished with power even when we have no power...
Romans 5:6...You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly.

We are lavished with an advocate, and intercessor, a defender...
I John 2:1...My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have one who speaks to the Father in our defense--Jesus Christ, the Righteous One.

We are lavished with reconciliation, which is a two way street...
Colossians 1:15-20...The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy. For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him, and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.

We are lavished by not having to face God's wrath...
Romans 5:9...Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God's wrath through him!

We are lavished with Love even when we are unLoveable...
Romans 5:6-8...You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

We are lavished with all things...
Philippians 4:19...And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus.

We are lavished with the Holy Spirit....
Isaiah 11:2...The Spirit of the LORD will rest on him--the Spirit of wisdom and of understanding, the Spirit of counsel and of power, the Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD--

We are lavished with adoption by our King of kings and Lord of lords....

In Christ, we are lavished with a peace that passes all understanding...

We are lavished with a constant companion, a God that never leaves us...
Deuteronomy 31:6...Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you."

We are lavished with help in our time of trouble...
Psalms 9:9...The LORD is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble.

We are lavished by being a blessing to our King...

We are lavished with Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self control...

We are lavished with God's goodness...

John 15:14-15...You are my friends if you do what I command. I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you.

We are lavished with the Word...

Lori, I know you were speaking about Jesus that gave His life for our Sins...But thousands have given their life for both the righteous and
un-righteous  live in a free and civil society. Nobody can give their life for another's sins but they can give their life to give the other a chance to continue to live.    Rem, John 15:13.."Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends."
I have no idea how you think this addresses the OP but have at it, I know better than to challenge you with truth.
