This is an interesting question.  It raises the issues of traditional philosophy verses philosophy that that is theological driven.  I had one professor who thought that we are all born in sin because we are all decedent from adam and eve and since they sinned we are born in sin. 

At the same time, my philosophy professor believed we are all born blank slates and have not sinned or done good.  Further, we are not good or evil,  but he does accept the thought that some are born in a way to be "mail ad see" 

With this all input it has always been my feelings we are born in God's grace, but we are a blank slate to be molded as we grow.
