Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.  Hebrews 11:1 (ESV)

8  The LORD is merciful and gracious,

slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love.

9  He will not always chide,

nor will he keep his anger forever.

10  He does not deal with us according to our sins,

nor repay us according to our iniquities.

11  For as high as the heavens are above the earth,

so great is his steadfast love toward those who fear him;

12  as far as the east is from the west,

so far does he remove our transgressions from us.

13  As a father shows compassion to his children,

so the LORD shows compassion to those who fear him.

14  For he knows our frame;

he remembers that we are dust.

Psalms 103:  8-14

6 “For you are a people holy to the LORD your God. The LORD your God has chosen you to be a people for his treasured possession, out of all the peoples who are on the face of the earth. 7 It was not because you were more in number than any other people that the LORD set his love on you and chose you, for you were the fewest of all peoples, 8 but it is because the LORD loves you and is keeping the oath that he swore to your fathers,  Dueteronomy 7:6-8 (ESV)

 8 for at one time you were darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light 9 (for the fruit of light is found in all that is good and right and true), 10 and try to discern what is pleasing to the Lord.  Ephesians 5: 8-10  (ESV)

15 Do not love the world nor the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the boastful pride of life, is not from the Father, but is from the world.

17 The world is passing away, and also its lusts; but the one who does the will of God lives forever.

1 Johns 2:15-17

 21 And he said, “Naked I came from my mother’s womb, and naked shall I return. The LORD gave, and the LORD has taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD.”

22 In all this Job did not sin or charge God with wrong.

Job 1: 21-22  (ESV)

4  Surely he has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows;
yet we esteemed him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted.

5  But he was pierced for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities;
upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his wounds we are healed.

Isaiah 53: 4-5

I know this question will drive many people crazy but the first part of this passage talks about proclaiming the gospel to the "WHOLE CREATION" when was the last time we preached to the cat or dog or birds in our yards?  Or is there something a bit deeper to that proclamation?

I'm thinking about (just my first thoughts, nothing more or less) that we proclaim the gospel through how we live as much as with our words and thus it is important to live every moment in faith/trust of the Living God, not just for the animals in the yard and the people we meet but for the celestrial beings we don't see as well.

Any thoughts?

I agree that it says the whole of God's creation and I think that applies how you interact with all of them.  The birds, dog, cats, and all.  I know when my journey back to faith started it was the subtle things like a bird bath, bird feeder, critter food and the like.  I started talking to my cat about things to include religion and beliefs.

My thoughts is, a short answer, we proclaim the gospel more through our actions than we do our words.  For the first things others see and understand is our actions.
