Almighty God, teach us to love and respect one another. Help us to extend a helping hand rather than pushing others away. Give us the courage to stand up for what is right, and be with us when our morals are challenged. Amen.

Father, You alone know my innermost hopes and dreams; my fears and worries.  Help me to remember that You are always here for me when I am in need of Your guidance.  I can sometimes feel so alone in my feelings, but I know You understand.  Thank You for being there for me each and every day.  Amen.

Christ our Lord, I can do more to help those in need. I can donate to worthy causes. I can volunteer my time. I can check on an elderly neighbor. I can carry extra food and drink for the hungry. I can pray for those who have lost faith. Help me to put others first so that I can reach out a helping hand whenever I am called to do so. Amen.

Heavenly Father, I often hear the phrase “we’re only human”.  But in saying this we are overlooking the fact that to be human is to a great blessing You have given us.  To be human is to love, to forgive, to share, and to make peace.  Help me, Lord, to embrace the nobility of the human condition, remembering that I am good because I am created in Your image.  Amen.

Holy Father,

Lord, I ask You to guide me. Show me the way.
I know there are many ways that I can share Your Word and
the gifts You have given me, but I need guidance.

O Lord, as I prepare for the upcoming Christmas celebration,
help me to remember the true meaning of the season…Jesus.
I often get overwhelmed with shopping lists and decorating,
forgetting to slow down and appreciate the true meaning of the holiday.
Help me to remember that Christmas is not about finding the perfect gift,
but about finding time to spend with my loved ones. Amen.
