Father, how I need Your wisdom. How I need Your understanding. I desire Your discernment to see me through this day. Thank You for Your love and the promise that You will give me the discerning mind You promised.

Father, I thank You for all the times You have sent encouragement and guidance my way. I pray that today You might help me be an encourager to others. To give guidance to others when they ask. To be present to someone who so desperately needs it. Give me eyes to see people the way You see people and to do and say things that are good and helpful. Holy Father, I admit that I worry and run around trying to fix things by myself. Forgive me for not trusting in You. Today I come to you and pour my worries at Your feet. Guide me, help me, bless me I pray. Show me the way through my worries and my issues I need to fix. I wait on You Holy Father for all my needs. AMEN

A prayer for all on Memorial Day this coming weekend.

Most Holy Father, We are thankful for the sacrifice so many throughout our history have made, for the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice and for their families who had to carry on without them. It is a sacrifice that has become too easy to forget. For those who have it, freedom is like oxygen. It’s something we just have. Many will not understand just how precious either is until they are at risk of being taken away. Today I remember the many sacrifices made and debts we cannot repay. Today I pray for the God of heaven to bless the families of those who have lost loved ones while serving our nation. We pray for you, Oh Lord, to bless and comfort the walking wounded who are still with us, and bless their families as well. It is also our prayer that we remember their sacrifice and the precious gift of freedom every day, not just once a year or when they are in danger of being taken away.

Dear Heavenly Father, I come to You, calling You father, Not father that I feel I have to please or need to fear, but a Heavenly Father. A Heavenly Father that has an unconditional love for me. Help me fully appreciate this fact. Help me know deep in my heart how rich and vast Your love is for me. Cast out all fear from my heart I pray. In Jesus name, AMEN

Mark-- this is a beautiful expression of your heart and it shows a deep understanding of who He is, that we call Father.

Heavenly Father, how my heart rejoices in knowing that You care so much for me. How can I even begin to fathom it? Help me see it, help me know it. Today, dear Lord, open my eyes that I can truly see the love You have for me. Thank you, Lord. Amen
