Ah, the Locusts in the fifth trumpet, Rev 9:1-11... 11 "And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon."

Yet, in Proverbs 30:27.."The locusts have no king, yet go they forth all of them by bands;"o

It seems to reason that these creatures are Demons from the bottomless pit..Rem, Hell to this date only hold those who have died not believing.

They are all destined for the Lake of Fire and Brimstone as is the Rich Man and Lazarus story..Luke 16:1

Where Lazarus is already in heaven while his mortal body is still in the ground awaiting resurrection at the Pre-Trib Rapture.

1 Cor 15:3-4.."For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:"

Acts 17:11.."These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so."

How we approach that book from the very beginning sets the standard of interpretation.

I would offer the whole book of Revelation like the Song of Songs is written as a parable using the signified tongue or poetic understanding of God .

They when mixing faith reveal the mysteries hid from natural man called hidden manna in Chapter 2:17 .

Many literal interpretations are offered, they would take away the spiritual understanding of the parable.

I Thought I had heard Revelation translated from just about every way it could be and then you come up with Revelation is a Parable...All 22 chapters....

Yes all 22 chapters .It would appear the opening hermeneutic  statement indicates the kind of language spoken of as not only inspired but also "signified" the language of parable or what Chapter 2:17 of that Book calls hidden manna .(the unseen understanding  of faith )

Revelation1:1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:

Revelation is far from a parable...It is the Revelation of Jesus Christ, given to Him by His Father to show his servants (elect) what will shortly happen. These events will be the worse days the earth has seen since its creation.
