Blade, the focus of the lesson is Paul's unique gospel. I'm aware of M, M, L and J and the OT. The key is to identify the audience, the intended listeners; the hearers of the word of God. Too many people insert themselves into the audience and claim promises and prophecies that are NOT for them. Of course we read the OT and study it and the entire Bible is written FOR us but it's not all TO us.

PJ.. Paul is our apostle for sure, all 13 books of them. I guess I did not understand in that the speaker was comparing the synoptic Gospels to the Books of Paul. He did so in very general terms not even mentioning any of the books or epistles Paul wrote.

I also did not understand your assertion that:"The key is to identify the audience, the intended listeners; the hearers of the word of God. Too many people insert themselves into the audience and claim promises and prophecies that are NOT for them."   Is this something to do with the audience of the FEF?

Hope you had a great Sunday, my friend.

Blade

1 Cor 15:3-4.."For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:"

Acts 17:11.."These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so."
