Title: The Miracle Rally
Post by: Billy Evmur on May 04, 2020, 04:36:09 am
I joined the thousands who had come to hear the little Jewish preacher from America. It was a right old Pentecostal do.

The preacher told the crowd not to expect to see any miracles on the first night for he said people must first hear the gospel to understand miracles and to receive faith. He preach from Isaiah 53 vs.1-6 showing that it was Jesus who was punished for our sins and who carried our sicknesses and diseases. The sermon was about 1 and 1/2 hours long and as far as I was concerned could have gone on all night, it was glorious.

After the sermon the preacher closed in prayer and dismissed the crowd.

The hall was set in square blocks surrounded by a semicircle of seats around the perimeter, I was seated in the perimeter looking down the block of seating in the body of the hall.
My attention had been caught by a little girl about 6 or 7 years old, she was a darling little blond thing. She had strapped around her chest a huge amplifier belt, obviously she was stone deaf and the amplifier was to warn of any loud noise such as nearby traffic. But as the prayer was prayed her ears came open.

Her face lit up like an angel and she began tugging excitedly at her nan's sleeve, this is what had caught my attention. She could hear the sound of people around her.

The preacher was leaving the platform but he turned back and addressed the crowd "somebody in the building has received a miracle, somebody who has been born deaf and dumb has been healed"
The girl's nan grabbed the child and rushed forward to the platform and showed how the little girl had begun hearing for the first time. Her hearing was checked and found perfect and she began speaking for the first time in her life. There was great joy in that place.

On the second night the preacher had barely been speaking 10 minutes when he said "for this purpose was the Son of God made manifest, that He might destroy the works of the devil." and he had to stop preaching for people were being healed all over the place. There was the most glorious Presence of the Holy Spirit. By the end of the evening the platform was packed with wheelchairs, canes and crutches, one full body cast and various other medical aids and implements. There were also piles of cigarette packets and needles used for drugs as people were set free from their abuse.

The meeting continued through the week and every night was the same, sometimes the preacher got to finish his sermon, sometimes he did not. Scores of precious miracles of healing and deliverance . many hundreds of people saved each night.

All praise and glory to God.
