Throughout this study we have seen Jesus teaching Paul through example how to be righteous or Love in any given situation or struggle that he would encounter. In the case of purity what we see is Jesus teaching that it is the pure in heart: an heart that we cannot see with our fleshly eyes: that are blessed for they will see God. (Matthew 5:8) Purity of heart is without doubt an important concept to Loving God and others. This godly purity that is so important comes from a godly grief. (II Corinthians 7:2-16; II Corinthians 11:2-3) In Philippians 1:3-11 we see that prayer and discernment are key components to being pure and blameless, filled with fruit of the righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ as an offering of praise and glory to God. (Philippians 2:15) Even Love comes from a pure heart, (I Timothy 1:3-11; I Peter 1:13-25) a good conscience and sincere faith. We cannot even Love without a purity of heart that comes from the righteousness of Christ. Even in dealing with others, we need to guard ourselves that our helping them does not pollute our own hearts. (I Timothy 5:22) Those with a pure heart will flee from youthful passions, pursue righteousness, faith, Love, and peace. (II Timothy 2:22) Purity breeds more purity. (Titus 1:15) Even in everyday life at home we are called to purity. (Titus 2:5) God is the one that cleanses us and gives us a pure heart. (Hebrews 10:22; I Peter 2:2; I Peter 3:2) Even the wisdom that He gives to all who ask is a pure wisdom, full of mercy and good fruits. (James 3:17) Those that have purified themselves have hope. (I John 3:1-10)

Ps. 51:9 10 Create in me a pure heart, oh, God, and renew your right Spirit within me. 11 Do not cast me out from before you and do not take your Holy Spirit from me.
Our hearts can be cleansed and made pure by faith.
Acts 15:9 He made no distinction between us and them, for He cleansed their hearts by faith.
