Title: What can we do when we grow weary?
Post by: guest24 on February 13, 2020, 07:55:19 am
What can we do when we grow weary? Either in this life in general, on the forum, in our churches, in our families, in doing good works. Becoming weary is a huge part of our lives, here are some of the things I have found in scripture that we can do

When we feel ourselves beginning to grow weary, what can we do? We can wait on the Lord (Isaiah 40:31) fear God and trust in Him, (Luke 18:18) and renounce the secret and shameful ways of the flesh, allow no deceit or distorting of God’s word, openly proclaim the truth. (II Corinthians 4:1-2) We can live in the extraordinary power of the indwelling Holy Spirit, allowing Him to renew us from the inside, while focusing our attention on the things that are eternal. (II Corinthians 4:7-18) Likewise, when we feel ourselves growing weary we can do the things that please God so that in due time we will reap the eternal rewards that God promises. (Galatians 6:8-10) We allow Christ to be our example and remember how much He endured. In this we consider Christ and fix our eyes on Him. (Hebrews 12:2-4) If we are righteous, we will hold to our right way, the imitation of Christ while cleansing our hands in the truth of Christ. (Job 17:9) Finally we learn that the good things that God gives are satisfying and in that we find strength. (Psalms 103:5; I Timothy 6:6)

(Job 17:9) Finally we learn that the good things that God gives are satisfying and in that we find strength. (Psalms 103:5; I Timothy 6:6)
Always have faith and trust in the Most High God. Pray continually. Hate evil, love what is good. Pray for our brothers and sisters. Be mindful of spiritual warfare. Keep on the watch. Know who our real enemies are. Know the weapons they use against us. Stay strong in our faith no matter what happens.

Be a light to the world. The more light there is, the less darkness there will be in the world. Expose workers of darkness. Shine a light on what they're doing. They hate that. They're like cockroaches who scatter when the light is on. Pray against them. Pray against evil. Pray for protection. Pray for the unity of Christians who are divided and caught up in divide and conquer. That's all planned by the evil ones who enjoy seeing Christians divided. Division is weakness and makes Christians easy targets. Christians need to unite against the common enemy. We are not enemies of each other. That's what they want us to believe.

In order to win the fight against evil, we must unite. The evil ones don't take breaks or vacations from their evil plans and actions and neither should we be complacent and not wide awake all the time. We need to be on guard always. Prayer is the most powerful weapon of defense against them. And in knowing and doing all this, we are strengthened to not grow weary and to never give up.

Christian churches need to make it top priority to be educating their congregations about spiritual warfare. No more being afraid to talk about it. No more being silent about it. If the preacher doesn't know about spiritual warfare then he needs to educate himself about it or find someone who does know about it. No more giving sermons that doesn't mention spiritual warfare and then sending people home to deal with it without knowing how to do that. That's not protecting the sheep. That's putting people in danger from ravenous wolves who by the way can easily infiltrate Christian churches and destroy them from within without the congregation even knowing about it till it's too late.

It's all about spiritual warfare. Christian churches are under attack. Christians are under attack. It's no wonder Christians are weary. They want to destroy our faith. They want to divide Christians. They want to secretly introduce their Satanic teachings and try to make them sound and look good. They want to take over Christian churches and use them as a place to desecrate, to mock God, perform their rituals, train their people. Christians need to know what's happening in their churches especially on days and nights that aren't regularly scheduled church hours for worship. They need to know who is doing all this. Children especially need to be protected. Because this is happening in many Christian churches. It needs to stop.

Sorry for the TMI, Lori. I guess I got a little carried away. It's just something that I feel very strongly about.

It's all good...I enjoyed your response and it is soooooooo true.

We are trying to get a ministry off the ground in which we will offer deeper teaching, think discipleship teaching.  So far we don't have a teaching on demons but maybe that should be in the plans for the future studies.  Everything is taken straight out of scripture so we will see where God leads.

I appreciate your understanding. It's not easy to talk about those kind of things.

that is why we need to talk about them and why the church needs to start discipling people rather than just evangelizing them.

I could talk about what happened to me personally in regard to what the churches I went to failed to do. They failed to recognize the wolves that entered right into the churches and took over positions including the position as preacher. They failed to protect me and other children. They didn't pay attention to what was happening in the churches during the services or and most importantly what happened after hours when certain people met in small groups inside the church. This kind of thing is happening in many churches and has been for a very long time. What I'm talking about happened up to 60 years ago. Think how much worse it is now.

Christians seem to think that these things can't or won't happen in their churches. They seem to think that they are immune to it. The thing is that Christians are targets, and Christian churches are targets, main targets in fact. So yes, it can happen, it has happened, and it will continue to happen as long as Christians don't know what they're dealing with, don't recognize it, don't know what to do about it, won't even talk about it and probably don't want to think about it.

I haven't had time to read and think really, but being physically weary also makes the mind and the spirit weary. We must pray for strength in Christ, within ourselves and our inner man/woman. Pray for you mind to be renewed and for spiritual strength and wisdom.

You and I have had different experiences but the same enemy when it comes to what you have seen which means I understand where you are coming from.  We have seen wolves in sheeps clothing and the church defended and protected them.  But I will also say this in hopes that it gives you hope.  I have also seen churches stand up to wolves....which is why we need to pray in faith and persistence for the Church and it's leaders, not to mention the sheep in their care.
