It is based upon the story of Ruth in the bible, her loyalty to Naomi her mother in law after her husband died, Naomi decided to trek back to her homeland on account of the famine. She absolved Ruth of any ongoing commitment or allegiance. But Ruth said "your home will be my home and your land will be my land, your God will be my God."

When I first posted Daughter you a lady from Florida messaged me to say it made her weep and determined her to drive all night to reach her ageing mother who was about to be engulfed by the Katrina hurricane, although she could do nothing for her, she just wanted her mum to know a daughter's love during that time.


She also had it published in different magazines and newspapers.
