Deuteronomy 4:1 Now therefore hearken, O Israel, unto the statutes and unto the judgments, which I teach you, for to do them, that ye may live, and go in and possess the land which the LORD God of your fathers giveth you.
4:2 Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.
Israel failed to possess all the land promised them because they were unable to keep the commandments given them.
Jesus did not abolish the need for Israel to keep the commandments:
Matthew 19:17 And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.
The remnant of Israel would keep the commandments during the tribulation through the power of the Spirit (Acts 1:8):
Revelation 14:12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
The remnant of Israel will be made kings and priests in the kingdom on earth:
Revelation 5:10 And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.

Yes He did Doug,,,The law and prophets stopped with John (the Baptist).

Doug, The period of Grace pertained to all people of earth, Jew and Gentile alike.and they are to follow the commandments of Jesus Christ within The New Testament after His Death. Paul is our apostle and we are to follow Jesus' words through him.
.. Rem, this my friend...This only ONE sin that will send one to HELL (the lake of Fire). ONE SIN! "UNBELIEF" and 2/3 of Israel living at the time of Daniel's 70th week, will die because of it.
Only after the Age of Grace is closed (beginning of Daniel's 70th week) will the "Everlasting Gospel" begin and this Gospel is like the Gospel of the Kingdom of Heaven in early chapters of Matthew. Yes, the Law will be back.
But those who believe during the Age of Grace will be taken to redeemed to heaven, a translated body (like that of Jesus Christ) and will go through a Bema Seat Judgement where Crowns according to the "Works" of after those who were justified during "the Age of Grace". This includes all the believing Jews of Acts 2, 8, 9, 10 through today. There is no difference in them and myself. They are my brother and sister in Christ. It is that simple..

I saw today a truck rolling down the highway with a big poster in its bed. The Poster had The Ten Commandments on it and the other writting on the truck made it clear, be legalistic to get to heaven.
