says: Your words*
|

says: I have had rugged times in my life where I sought out the very same type of site you speak of. I too have always felt those windows into untainted nature are almost otherworldly. I can relate to words with ease.

says: Once I had an illness and was in a small room by myself in a sanatorium and just outside my window there was a stone wall with an opening in it surrounded by nature Sasha. It came across as otherworldly to me. That still sticks with me.

says: Toff, that has been a constant in my life. Finding those natural spots that reflect beauty unscathed by concrete jungle.
It has an effect that is almost rejuvenating.

says: Yes Sasha. I wholeheartedly agree. In the Botanic Gardens I used to go up to a metal grating behind a tree and look out on to a long untouched field for several minutes.

says: Jon, Rotfl! What? People can tell that I’m from the south? I don’t have to tell them?
(Saying in a draw)

says: Toff, I will look those up today and take a look! It’s always wonderful to have places to go and connect with nature! It’s great that there are places like that there!
|

|

says: Rotfl, nose tobacco and gritty raisins.
Why do I want to pop in a John Wayne movie, all the sudden?
|
| August 10, 2018, 11:41:30 am
says: It’s pretty popular in “southern” states of the US. Of course Joe may be atypical and be one of the few Americans that uses the nose stuff too. I tried it and hated it lol
|
August 10, 2018, 11:40:38 am Sasha
says: Jon, Smokeless tobacco, indeed. I have used snuff in my day. It would keep me awake when I was working long hours. I always had to check for that odd powder residue. It always struck me as an odd way to use tobacco.
Toff, What’s Dublin like?
|
| August 10, 2018, 11:38:33 am
says: I used to chew too, it just tasted like I had a wad of gritty raisins in my mouth all day lol
