October 31, 2021, 09:27:48 pm says: I did a news release for the Day of the Dead and why Catholics should not consider it sinful to celebrate it.  Made it rather neutral so the reader could make a decision for themselves.  Even quoted the Pope saying it is fine, took the time to briefly cover how all church's missionaries have used inculturation to spread Christianity in all its forms.   You would think that it would have been acceptable, but I forget I was dealing with humans and their built-in prejudices and any stance of my way is the only right way mentality.    The hate emails stacked up rapidly.  Some were just hilarious.

October 28, 2021, 10:27:16 am says: Great to hear Mark.  I know that they went through a period of time in children's literature where the story didn't have to have any substance as long as the art was awesome.  I think there are some doing the same thing with adult literature, not art but "proper" wording that strips all real meaning and since we are here to please the Living God not man, the best we can do is pray, be open to His will, and move forward in His grace and trusting Him all the way even when it doesn't make sense....so good to hear it is working out for you....may our Lord continue to bless you and guide you and use you in a mighty way.
