question to the reader: which on are you. You are either one or the other. You believe there is NOT a millennial coming or there is!

which on are you.

I think there will be. I have a topic for Theology Forums. I'm still thinking but it will be discussion of why satan is allowed to return to earth and spoil it again for a season after Christ reigns.

A very good question PJ...

My logical guess is two fold..

1.. Loosing Satan brings out all of those that for some reason have been allowed (by Jesus) to stay in the millennial even though it is clear even to me they lied about them accepting Jesus at their 100th year.

2. The other reason would be to prove that Man has inherent sin/evil within him without any outside influences. During this 1,000 years Satan was in the center of the earth thus he could not influence man into doing any evil/sin.....It is true from Adam to this time, the inheritance that is in the blood and only the blood is within mankind thousands of years after that first fall.

Interesting. The lay person might think why didn't God finish this and destroy satan forever.

Lets take the last first....God does not according to His scripture destroy anyone. Their mortal body is destroyed but the immortal soul still lives. The Lake of fire an Brimstone may be the eternal place for many, for they will never die but they will be separated from GOD!

God had three ways to deal with his creations....He could have made us pure and to love only him....We both know that is not real love as it would make us automatons.

The second way would be to leave us to ourselves and walk away. First, I do not think it is possible to live in a mortal life totally without GOD!. There would be no rain, sunshine, etc.    But say we could live without HIM (and Satan)can one imagine just how terrible it would be without evil being restrained.

The third way is the way He chose for us, giving us the opportunity to live forever if only we would follow Him. Whether He let Lucifer live on purpose, we may never know but it did serve a purpose...To contrast His WAY and the evil of Satan's way.
