This is a special time for our family as we are in the process of adopting at least one dog, maybe two. They are small dogs that don't shed much and one is Buck, he's 8 years old. The other one is Barney and he's 5 years old.


The place we are adopting from helps Seniors find pets and the pets have been rescued most of the time, or abandoned. We will love these little guys like they've never known before and they will bring us so much joy here at home. We have a fenced back yard and a doggie door.


We lost our two beloved dogs last year and it still hurts but they had excellent lives and tons of love . . . and treats.  I'm excited but I don't want to get my hopes up too much because small dogs get adopted quickly.
