I have a 2012 Harley Dyna Wide Glide. I raced a friend of mine from work about 5 years ago. He beat me bad. So I ordered a Fuel Moto 107" Big Bore kit. My friend and I installed it in his shop. Now she'll pull your arms out of the sockets. This is probably how I will die.  :'(

Tell me if you ride and where you like to ride. Do you fix your own bike? How about the modifications you have made?

My big bore kit came with a DVD to show me how to install it. It has Wood 777 cams, high compression pistons, bored out jugs, roller lifters, high performance valve springs, bigger than stock stainless steel valves, and the heads were ported and polished. Here are some photos of the build.

Great thread idea. In the early and mid 70s my uncle Phil had a Harley repair shop out of his home in Omaha NE. My grandma dragged me along for a visit one summer. We went to the big air show and everything and there were Harleys everywhere at his house. How did you get those jpeg images to post? I have tons of images etc on my computer but can't copy paste them from there.

I find it hard to talk to you guys and think of things to mention but then forget. I didn't set this forum up to show those big pictures for all the thread topics on that home page. I suppose it's the style I picked but if anybody sees something better we can change to, let me know before we change it. I just worked with what we have when I started it so I decided to put images there instead of having nothing at all. I didn't think they would be that big.

I'm used to it already but new visitors might be put off. Who cares though right? This is our forum.

Besides all that, this thread will be good for ant mechanics and riders who like talking shop or just learning from you.

I’m in the “Learning from Joe” camp. Don’t have a bike, but I like looking at parts and stuff and seeing how things work and go together to make a machine or a system.

I had to resize the images. I wanted to post all the images, but could not get multiple images to upload except for one time. The maximum size limit is right under the Attach URL. I save my images to OneDrive. I can get to them from my phone or PC. OKAY. Add your attachment and hit Save. Hit Modify add another attachment Hit Save. Repeat.

Hey Jon, If you ever get to Maggie Valley, NC you have to go to the Wheels Through Time Museum. Not only do they have an incredible inventory of antique motorcycles, but a majority of them still run. They will fire one right up on the floor for you to hear it. It is a blast! On the Velocity Channel, look for What's in the Barn. That is the same guy who runs the museum with his son. Great people. Here is a link to their WEB site.

I’m gonna have to keep that in mind, the wife and I usually take a week in June and go to North Carolina. It’s usually in the Bryson City area. If it’s not too terribly far from there then I’m definitely gonna check it out next time we’re up there.
