Hello all, I'm just posting what's on my mind here to raise the post count and to strike up some good chats. How are you? How is your life, you goals, dreams, visions, plans?

Do you have a routine everyday? Is it really hot where you are? Lori, Brian and you are in Indiana right?

Have a good day.

Good morning...we are in Ohio but you were close.  I went to college for a couple of years in IN and I have a sister that lives there now.  It is raining here all week which is not helping us get things ready for winter...argh.  We are trying to get 100 lavender plants in the ground not to mention some roses...a green house built, and some other odd jobs so we are prepared for winter.  We harvested cattails already but soon we will have more harvesting to do and add on to put together so that we can sell stuff with the goal of self supporting missions.  Brian's new schedule allows him to do on line teaching on Mon. so we are getting that started as well.  Too much to do, not enough time to get it done and last night our son (who still lives with us) hurt his shoulder at work....lol more lessons in learning to truth God in all that we do and say.

How about you?

Well, I fell in the house a few weeks ago and **** a rib so it's very painful to breath, cough, sleep and move but it's getting better slowly. There's nothing they can do except wrap you. I have a gate in my doorway to keep one cat from coming in my room/office, but my cat jumps over it with no trouble, it's good exercise for her, lol. The other cat won't jump over, so at night I was headed to the bathroom and caught my foot on the gate and fell.

Good deal for Brian, and what are cat tails for? Can you eat them? Sounds like y'all stay real busy there so that's good. I hope your son heals quickly.

Ouch! I hurt just thinking about it....our cat is outdoors but the dog is another story.  He is a Bernese Mountain Dog I guess you would say he is a rescue though that is a different story.  Sweet dog but Bernese are fond of pushing on people to get attention.  The problem with Bear is that he doesn't think anything about pushing on people but he wouldn't push open a darn door if the house was burning down around him, lol he would just sit there and cry till you opened the door and waited for him to go through it....

These cattail we are going to use in arrangements for fall and sell to florists for the same.  You can eat them.  They say that if you find cattails you will find everything you need to survive.  They can be used as batting for warmth, we plan on making temporary (till lumber prices come down) roof for the porch.  They can be used as medicine and the slimy stuff (when you strip outer leaves off) is good for cuts, etc.  WE have a swamp in the back of the house and Brain estimates there is about  1/4 acre of cat tails.  We started out looking into growing and selling cut flowers but are slowly moving toward more herbs for when everything falls apart.  In fact, I am getting ready to help Brian plant some flowers that since says is 94:5 percent effective at repelling mosquitoes.  The idea is mosquito repellant bouquets for like a picnic table or something like that...this plant also has healing qualities.

Hey Blade, slow down sir, you work too hard and too much. Life is passing you by while you're working, hahaha just kidding brother, it keeps you young I believe. I hope you are doing well in TN and that title I gave as House Manager was just a silly joke. I knew I could remove it when you noticed, I thought it was pretty funny myself.  :D ;D

I'm so sick and tired of people telling me if I don't get the Covid shot i won't be able to breathe. What do they think happens with things like congestive heart failure. I know what happens. I saw it happen to my husband and daughter.

Whatever happened to my body my choice.  ::)

It's on my mind but nobody is pressuring me . . . . Yet. I think all of the people who got the shots and will get more as "booster" will want and expect every single human on earth to take the same crap they did. It's a mentality of "if I had to take them I want everyone else to also." We will be guilted, shamed, pressured and the forced to get the shots.

Doesn't your doctor pressure you?

My doctor told me after not being able to scare or force me to take it, don't come crying to me when you get Covid. My respect for him dropped.

I'm not a lab rat for an experimental vaccine. And I'm not going to play vaccine roulette. Doesn't it take like eight years for a vaccine to pass tests and to get approved? Maybe someone here with medical knowledge can answer that.
