You said:When I first read the Bible, the (for me) surprising result was that I became a fan of Jesus Christ.
I saw in Jesus Christ a great revolutionary.I don´t know if there is a "solution".

I see you were on the right track. I take it that the revolutionary idea you had of Jesus faded and you lost interest.????
No I haven't lost interest in Jesus Christ.
I'm just disgusted by a Christian Church that claims to follow Jesus Christ but in reality is doing the devil's work.

You already know several examples of Jesus Christ opposing the Tanach (for example on the Sabbath that significantly was changed by the sun worshipping founder of the Christian church, Emperor Constantine, to SUNDAY). The Bible is more than 90% against Jesus.

Hey Firestarter, thank you for your reply... I will have to disagree with you in that the Bible is 90% against Jesus Christ. I believe the 66 books of the Bible was written by 40+ penmen and one Author, GOD/Jesus Christ/Holy Spirit.

No doubt you also know that the chosen race of the Tanach (a.k.a. Old Testament) are the Jews (or the descendants of the Tribe of Judah, one of the 13 (!) Tribes of Israel).
I guess you don't know that in the New Testament the definition of Jew was significantly changed to include anybody that lives "like a Jew", so according to the New Testament "Jew" isn't even a "race". More than 90% of the people that claim that they are Jews supposedly descend of Ashkenaz (so not even 1 of the Tribes of Israel).

Firestarter...It may seem like the definition of the 'Jew' is changed but it has not. In the New Testament, The Testament of Jesus Christ, the Law of Moses  (Torah or Pentateuch) has ended (with John the Baptist) and the Gospel of Grace has begun. During the 2nd century around 132-136 AD, the Jews are driven from Jerusalem, the Diaspora , spread the Jewish people around the world. Jerusalem is leveled and built over by a city named...Aelia Capitolina in the first years following the 70 AD destruction of Jerusalem and is a big reason for the Jewish revolt in 132 AD

The Bar Kokhba revolt of 132–136 AD resulted in the Jewish population, what was left of them, being banned from the area and Jerusalem. Thus the prophecy of Diaspora was fulfilled.

Have no fear, Firestarter, according to GOD, He will not forget His People and will bring them back to the land he gave them. This prophecy happened in part in 1948.

I guess , I want to impress upon you the Bible (KJV) is the whole WORD of GOD. He tells us he has a plan for both JEWS and GENTILES.

One plan for each.

Why would you, a non-Jew I presume, follow a racist ideology that makes you second rate?!?

Forget those other false religions as there is only one true religion and only one true GOD.

You´re the one with a one-dimensional idea of religion. You are in fact supporting mental slavery, mind control, while Jesus Christ was fighting to break the chains...
You are in fact spreading gospel against Jesus (doing the devil´s work). You should be ashamed of yourself!

He has told us that those who believe in HIM will not go through the wrath of GOD but rather taken to Heaven where we will receive an immortal body and see Jesus Christ as He is.
I rather stand up for what I believe in than look the other way while evil destroys our world.

I am sorry you feel that way. God tells us vengeance is his. I can tell you GOD is in CONTROL of all things going on.

Firestarter, All you need to do is to seek Jesus and truly repent your sins(turn in a different direction). Ask Jesus to come into your heart and at the same time, turn control of your life over to him. The good thing, You can do this in the recesses of your mind. Nothing else need be done at this time for:

IF YOU ARE TRUE IN YOUR HEART, Jesus tells us, you will receive 'Salvation', a gift so precious and the Holy Spirit, who will teach you if you will listen, guide you down the path to righteousness and protect you from any outside evil.

All of this, if you will simply trust in HIM for He will deliver you from woes of this world.

I´m "true" in more ways than you could even imagine. I don´t need to ask anybody´s "forgiveness" as I have a clear conscience.

Don´t tell any psychiatrist that you believe Jesus "tells" you anything, you could be sentenced to schizophrenia...
Please don´t tell me on the notion that God or his one and only Son would speak to anybody (you?) personally, or grants somebody wishes (discriminating against others?) - because this is utterly preposterous!

Firestarter.. I really do not know what to tell you. Yo have made it clear you do not need God in your life. For this I am sorry, however, I will still pray that you find HIM before the end.

Firestarter...It may seem like the definition of the 'Jew' is changed but it has not.
I´ll only add a link on how the definition of “Jew” was changed from Hebrew Tanach (Old Testament) to the Latin New Testament. This has nothing to do with deep philosophy (or “understaning” and I haven´t found this out myself).

The word “Jew” from the English translation of the Tanach refers to “yehûd” – meaning of the Tribe of Judah (according to Nothmartha, also the descendants of Benjamin are Jews).

The word “Jew” from the English translation of the Tanach refers to “Ioudaikōs” – meaning “like” the Jews (so according to his definition Jew isn't a race): https://www.lawfulpath.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=1376

The "race" that rules Israel since 1948 (of course taking their orders from the almighty Order of the Garter) are the Ashkenazi "Jews". These aren't "Jews" according to the Tanach (or even one of the 13 Tribes of Israel).
They claim to descend from Ashkenaz, whose ancestors were (according to the Tanach): Noah > Japheth > Gomer > Ashkenaz.
So they didn't descend from Jacob (a.k.a. Israel), so don't descend from the Tribes of Israel (per definition)...

The Ashkenazis are of Turkish origin (according to the Bible) and have made Israel one of the most anti-Semitic countries in the whole world!

Oh, well have it your way but in my opinion, you are wrong..... OH, GOD only made one race of Peoples....The Human Race...Again you are wrong!
That was not my interpretation when I read the Bible.
I read that in the Tanach that the "Jews" are the chosen race of the Father, who demands total obedience to everything He orders (including in at least one instance a father being prepared to sacrifice his own son).

If the Tanach wasn't so racist, but would only refer to the human race instead of the "Jews" and other races, I wouldn't find it so horrible.
Other races are certainly mentioned, including the (other) 11 or 12 tribes of Israel, the barbaric Scythians, and many episodes don't only refer to Egyptians (as I read it, more as a race than country) but actually happen in Egypt.

Of course it's strange that there would be more than 1 race, as according to the story of creation we all descend from Adam and Eve (genetically all human males should have the exact identical Y-chromosome) and according to the story on the Arc of Noah we all descend from Noah, his sons and wifes. An interesting piece of information is that according to the Tanach the Arc landed in what is now Turkey...

It looks to me that your current claim of only "one race" contradicts your earlier claim where you discern between Jews and gentiles:

WHY, You, I  and the Jewish people are distant Cousins at best for our families come from the Noah's Children who are Brothers.    Yes, we all have Adams and EVEs DNA in us but our direct fathers, Ham, Shem and Japath are Noah's sons....

SO COUZ quite trying to be so mean and bad,.,.,.,.to your kin folk!  Be a little bit more respectful.

Firestarter, I don't think that you're saying that all Christians are the same and look the other way. There are many of us who have made posts exposing the evil and corruption in the world. We certainly don't look the other way. And I'm sure there are many Christians who don't go on the internet to say how they feel about this who don't look the other way.

I've been accused of attacking Christians and Christian churches (not on this forum) because I've posted about church abuse but my motive was to make other Christians aware of what is happening in many churches and I never said all churches as I was accused of saying. But it was interpreted that way.

And even though I've experienced some of the worst abuse in Christian churches, that doesn't affect my faith in God and I don't view all Christians the same as the ones who were involved in the abuse. In reality they weren't Christians anyway. They were just pretending to be Christians to be able to desecrate a church and to have access to Christians to harm them, especially children.  :'(  They were able to move up to high positions in the church, trusted positions, even up to the preacher's position. They know how to bring down a church and take it over. They go after strong churches. They're not concerned with the weak ones.

The fact is, as you know, all levels of society have been infiltrated including many churches and that's something that we as Christians need to be aware of and be on guard against. That's something that I try to make Christians aware of but that doesn't mean that I'm attacking Christians or Christian churches. But there are those who may interpret it that way.

I certainly don´t take aim at "Christians" specifically.
I´ve earlier tried to explain this in reply to a post by Patrick Jane:
It is an important form of HYPOCRISY that "we" - whatever type we like to call ourselves: Christian, Muslim, Hindu, Atheist, etc. - seem to prefer to look the other way, while the lucky few orchestrate genocide and slavery.
We - the cowards - simply look the other way, hoping that we can get ahead in our career, often drinking alcohohol or using drugs to quiet our conscience.

All organised religions (including "science") aim for mind control. There is no such thing as a "good church".
There are certainly good Christian "preachers" but anybody working for the church, who doesn´t speak out against the abuses of the organisation they work for is - per definition - a hypocrite.

Every single Christian church I´ve visited was decorated with lots of “golden calves”.

About the false preachers in your churches, see the following quote from the New Testament:
2 Corinthians 11:13-15
Quote
For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.
And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

On average children are are less innocent and cunning than us adults. Maybe this is the reason why Jesus adviced us to become like children (to receive the Kingdom of God).
Mark 10:14-15
Quote
But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased, and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.
Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein.

Do you know of any Christian that has followed this?!?
Some of the (hyperactive?) behaviour of children I’ve seen: climbing trees, yelling, running in circles until so dizzy they fall down, stomping their feet in a puddle of water or rolling around in the grass while it’s raining.
I think that Jesus would agree (with me) that Christians could better roll around in the grass in the rain in their good Sunday clothes, than listen to the lies of some false preacher in church that tells them to be a good slave in this life, to get a reward in the eternal life after death.

Erasmus - The praise of folly
« Reply #20 on: January 30, 2019, 11:24:34 am »
There aren’t many Dutch books worth reading. Erasmus’ “The praise of folly” is one of the better philosophy books I´ve read. It’s a first person account of the much underestimated god “folly”...
Errasmus uses this construction to sarcastically ridicule human vanity, stupidity and selfishness (including hypocrisy).
The book got controversial and popular because Erasmus exposed the greed and corruption of the Christian clergymen. Erasmus was understandably expelled from his position as a priest.

Erasmus explains in his introduction that “moria” is really another name for “folly”.
Coincidentally “Moriah” is the land where Abraham went to sacrifice his beloved son Isaac to “God”; he only stops at the last moment when an angel tells him to “lay not thine hand upon the lad” (Genesis 22:1-13).

The following excerpts are relevant in the context of “hypocrisy”.
Quote
Be it as foolish as they would make it, so they confess it proper: and what can be more than that Folly be her own trumpet? For who can set me out better than myself, unless perhaps I could be better known to another than to myself? Though yet I think it somewhat more modest than the general practice of our nobles and wise men who, throwing away all shame, hire some flattering orator or lying poet from whose mouth they may hear their praises, that is to say, mere lies; and yet, composing themselves with a seeming modesty, spread out their peacock's plumes and erect their crests, while this impudent flatterer equals a man of nothing to the gods and proposes him as an absolute pattern of all virtue that's wholly a stranger to it, sets out a pitiful jay in other's feathers, washes the blackamoor white, and lastly swells a gnat to an elephant. In short, I will follow that old proverb that says, "He may lawfully praise himself that lives far from neighbors." Though, by the way, I cannot but wonder at the ingratitude, shall I say, or negligence of men who, notwithstanding they honor me in the first place and are willing enough to confess my bounty, yet not one of them for these so many ages has there been who in some thankful oration has set out the praises of Folly; when yet there has not wanted them whose elaborate endeavors have extolled tyrants, agues, flies, baldness, and such other pests of nature, to their own loss of both time and sleep.

(...)

For even the Stoics themselves that so severely cried down pleasure did but handsomely dissemble, and railed against it to the common people to no other end but that having discouraged them from it, they might the more plentifully enjoy it themselves. But tell me, by Jupiter, what part of man's life is that that is not sad, crabbed, unpleasant, insipid, troublesome, unless it be seasoned with pleasure, that is to say, folly? For the proof of which the never sufficiently praised Sophocles in that his happy elegy of us, "To know nothing is the only happiness," might be authority enough, but that I intend to take every particular by itself.

(...)

And first 'tis agreed of all hands that our passions belong to Folly; inasmuch as we judge a wise man from a fool by this, that the one is ordered by them, the other by reason; and therefore the Stoics remove from a wise man all disturbances of mind as so many diseases. But these passions do not only the office of a tutor to such as are making towards the port of wisdom, but are in every exercise of virtue as it were spurs and incentives, nay and encouragers to well doing: which though that great Stoic Seneca most strongly denies, and takes from a wise man all affections whatever, yet in doing that he leaves him not so much as a man but rather a new kind of god that was never yet nor ever like to be. Nay, to speak plainer, he sets up a stony semblance of a man, void of all sense and common feeling of humanity. And much good to them with this wise man of theirs; let them enjoy him to themselves, love him without competitors, and live with him in Plato's commonwealth, the country of ideas, or Tantalus' orchards. For who would not shun and startle at such a man, as at some unnatural accident or spirit? A man dead to all sense of nature and common affections, and no more moved with love or pity than if he were a flint or rock; whose censure nothing escapes; that commits no errors himself, but has a lynx's eyes upon others; measures everything by an exact line, and forgives nothing; pleases himself with himself only; the only rich, the only wise, the only free man, and only king; in brief, the only man that is everything, but in his own single judgment only; that cares not for the friendship of any man, being himself a friend to no man; makes no doubt to make the gods stoop to him, and condemns and laughs at the whole actions of our life?

(...)

Nor are princes by themselves in their manner of life, since popes, cardinals, and bishops have so diligently followed their steps that they've almost got the start of them. For if any of them would consider what their Albe should put them in mind of, to wit a blameless life; what is meant by their forked miters, whose each point is held in by the same knot, we'll suppose it a perfect knowledge of the Old and New Testaments; what those gloves on their hands, but a sincere administration of the Sacraments, and free from all touch of worldly business; what their crosier, but a careful looking after the flock committed to their charge; what the cross born before them, but victory over all earthly affections—these, I say, and many of the like kind should anyone truly consider, would he not live a sad and troublesome life? Whereas now they do well enough while they feed themselves only, and for the care of their flock either put it over to Christ or lay it all on their suffragans, as they call them, or some poor vicars. Nor do they so much as remember their name, or what the word bishop signifies, to wit, labor, care, and trouble. But in racking to gather money they truly act the part of bishops, and herein acquit themselves to be no blind seers.

In like manner cardinals, if they thought themselves the successors of the apostles, they would likewise imagine that the same things the other did are required of them, and that they are not lords but dispensers of spiritual things of which they must shortly give an exact account. But if they also would a little philosophize on their habit and think with themselves what's the meaning of their linen rochet, is it not a remarkable and singular integrity of life? What that inner purple; is it not an earnest and fervent love of God? Or what that outward, whose loose plaits and long train fall round his Reverence's mule and are large enough to cover a camel; is it not charity that spreads itself so wide to the succor of all men? that is, to instruct, exhort, comfort, reprehend, admonish, compose wars, resist wicked princes, and willingly expend not only their wealth but their very lives for the flock of Christ: though yet what need at all of wealth to them that supply the room of the poor apostles? These things, I say, did they but duly consider, they would not be so ambitious of that dignity; or, if they were, they would willingly leave it and live a laborious, careful life, such as was that of the ancient apostles.

I think there are more and more people including Christians who are waking up and recognizing the evil and corruption in the world and are speaking out about it and not supporting it. And by speaking out about it, other people are made more aware. Because many people aren't aware.

People are kept distracted in different ways by design. Mind control is being used on different levels on everybody through so many ways; tv programs, movies, music, the news, even commercials, cartoons, the education system, universities, politics, symbols and images, and yes, mind control is being used on people in many churches. There is also different kinds of technology being used against people.

There are many Christians who are increasingly meeting in homes for bible studies, worship and prayer. Here where I live, there is a large room downstairs where people have bible studies. Because so many people here are elderly and/or disabled and so that is helpful for them.

Yes, the scriptures warn us about that.

I see a lot of claims that people are waking up, but I only see people that are more and more distracted.

The technology is a relatively "new" thing, growing up there was only the TV, now there is computer technology, internet, and mobile phones. This has created a state of information overload where Big Brother knows (almost) everything...
And voice-2-skull technology!

There are many Christians who are increasingly meeting in homes for bible studies, worship and prayer. Here where I live, there is a large room downstairs where people have bible studies. Because so many people here are elderly and/or disabled and so that is helpful for them.
I think that people arranging "study", especially if it replaces sitting for the TV as a couch potatoe, as a group outside the church is a good thing.
I really doubt that it's good to have "worshipping" ceremonies in anybody's life.

For some reason 2 forums that I joined in 2016 have been deleted from the internet - Davidicke.com and Letsrollforums.com.
For some reason internet “search” engines block my posts: http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?508090-Google-censors-the-world/page2

Well, I see more and more people waking up. Of course there are still people who are distracted. I mean many people work a full time job or more than one job and trying to survive and so when they get home from work, they want to relax and not be worrying about evil and corruption in the world. They might watch the news but the news isn't going to be giving them the truth about what's really happening. The news presented that way only adds to the distraction. Many people settle for that kind of news while other people question what they're told and do research.

The technology I was referring to being used against people isn't all new technology. even V2K is not new technology. It's that we're just now being made aware of it but it's been around for at least 50 years along with other technology.

I think it's a good thing too. I personally feel more safe with this kind of worship and study outside of a church building. That doesn't mean that I'm saying that people shouldn't go to a church. I hope it's not interpreted that way.

The problem is , WHAT are they WAKING-UP too????

with a large percentage of the Churches in apostasy, it will be difficult to find the right path. Look at this and TF forum, How many different versions of Salvation are there.

In the context that I was referring to, waking up is not a problem. The problem would be not waking up to what's really happening. Every level of society has been infiltrated including many churches. That's why there is apostasy. The problem is recognizing the apostasy and who is causing it.

I believe the right path is found in these scriptures.

Deut. 4:9 But if from there you will seek the LORD your God, you will find Him if you seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul.

Ps. 146:3 Do not trust a prince or upon a son of man, for there is no salvation in his hand.

Prov. 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart; and lean not unto your own understanding. 6in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.…
