The following analysis that shows that there is no evidence that the draconian measures prevent COVID-19 cases could be good if it wasn’t for a major flaw.
The writer forgets to note that the number of COVID-19 cases and deaths is meaningless, as flawed tests or no tests at all are used. And even when the magical COVID-19 virus is correctly identified in somebody’s blood this doesn’t mean that the illness was caused by the mutated, novel coronavirus:

The Trump administration has awarded $1.2 billion to UK drug giant AstraZeneca (based in Cambridge) for development, production and delivery of its potential vaccine, developed by the University of Oxford’s Jenner Institute.
UK Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy Alok Sharma said that already in September they plan to start poisoning 30 million British citizens with the dangerous AstraZeneca vaccine, with another 70 million following (100 million doses in total).
The US has signed up for about 300 million vaccine doses with the $1.2 billion payment.
Last month human trials to test the vaccine in 1,000 healthy volunteers ages 18 to 55 in England started.
The $1.2 billion from BARDA will fund a phase 3 trial in 30,000 participants:

One of the largest companies that has filed for bankruptcy during this “pandemic” is one of the USA’s largest car-rental companies, the Hertz Global Holdings Inc..
Hertz, filed for bankruptcy protection Friday, with some $19 billion in debt after its nearly 700,000 rent-a-cars have been largely idle, since the start of the “pandemic”.
Hertz was already struggling, with net losses in the last 4 years, losing $58 million in 2019:
