TWO MEMBERS of the nazi-Communist underground in Spain also took in Senator McCarthy's two junior G-men, Roy Cohn and David Schine, during their comic-opera, spy-hunting junket throughout Europe last year.

One was Wolfgang Lohde, who filled the two youthful gumshoes with stories of Communist -infiltration of Radio Free Europe. It later turned out that he had signed an anti-American manfesto circulated by a German Communist-front organization.

The other informant was Hermann Aumer, who was authorized by Cohn and Schine to spy on the U.S.-licensed German press for McCarthy. Once ardently pro-nazi, Aumer was fired by the U.S. Army in 1946 because of suspected Communist affiliations.

According to T-1, of known reliability, subject [Robert Maxwell] and Kurt Wallersteiner, British citizens, business partners, are in contact with Russians in East Germany, who were prepared to facilitate trading by their companies with Eastern bloc countries in return for political and economic intelligence information regarding policies of the Western Powers, and the West German Government, in particular, towards East Germany; information regarding US and allied mililtary, political, and economic organizations in Germany; US and allied intelligence operations directed against the Soviet bloc; US contacts with underground movement in the USSR.

According to T-1, of known reliability, Kurt Wallersteiner and Ian Robert Maxwell are partners in the firm Anglo-Continental Exchange, Ltd., of London, England.  T-1 stated that this is a scientific publishing and book-selling company.  T-1 stated that both Wallersteiner and Maxwell have been recruited by the Soviets for Espionage purposes. 
T-1 related that Maxwell and Wallersteiner were in contact with the Russians in East Germany, who were prepared to facilitate trading by their companies with Eastern bloc countries in return for certain intelligence information.

The files reflected information received from T-6, another Government agency, in April, 1954, which reflected in part as follows:
The German representative of Watford Chemical Company, Ltd., London, and its subsidiairies is GUSTAV MUELLER, Berlin, Germany. He is suspicious of Captain MAXWELL, whom he suspects of trying to take over from WALLERSTEINER. MUELLER, who boasts that he has the reputation of a convinced Communist and thereby enjoys the full confidence of the DDR authorities, was the principal in a $7,000,000 to $8,000,000 barter deal between Watford Chemical Corporation and China under which they sold pharmaceutical products to China.

At my request Maxwell arranged an interview for me alone with Sir Charles Hambro. Sir Charles had a high position in British Intelligence during the war. He accompanied our Alsos Mission shortly before VE Day when we found the principal laboratory in Southern Germany and he also took part in the removal of uranium ore from Germany. I met him in Washington from time to time shortly after the war, but had not seen him for several years when I visited him at the bank. According to British custom it is not likely that he has completely severed his connections with Intelligence.
The fact that there is this relation between Maxwell and Hambro and the few items dropped for my benefit by Maxwell on earlier occasions (such as letter drops for communications with scientists, defection possibility of Landau, Sverdlovsk being classified, see my former reports) makes me believe that Maxwell is being used cleverly by British Intelligence.

A week ago, Geoffrey S. Berman, US attorney for the Southern District of New York was forced to step down by Attorney General Bill Barr after he had been investgating Trump cronies a bit too seriously for comfort for president Donald.
Berman has prosecuted or brought charges against: 1) Donald�t paedo buddy Jeffrey Epstein; 2) Trump's former lawyer Michael Cohen; 3) Russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya, who was at the infamous 9 June 2016 meeting at Trump Tower; 4) Rudy Giuliani associates Lev Parnas and Igor Fruman.
Berman also investigated Giuliani himself.

There are a lot more interesting investigations started by (the office of) Geoffrey Berman that could be more than enough reason for the �deep state� to fire him!
Maybe the most troubling was that he investigated the largest Turkish state-owned bank, Halkbank and Israel's largest bank Bank Hapoalim. Both are close to the Trump-Kushner crime syndicate.

On 30 April 2020, Geoffrey Berman announced a deferred prosecution agreement against Bank Hapoalim, for helping to hide assets in offshore accounts and helping to bribe FIFA officials (the body that controls international soccer).
Bank Hapoalim settled the 2 cases for more than $900 million. Berman commented:

In 2015, Bedoya was banned from international soccer and was (is?) awaiting sentencing after pleading guilty pleading guilty to racketeering and wire fraud.
Assistant Attorney General Brian A. Benczkowsk commented:
