Not so according to Gods Word in the Bible, or according to:

In  1 TIM 3:16.(KJV)..."And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory."

Jesus was GOD manifest in the Flesh. (Jesus is God and God is Jesus)

then you put in quote: (Jesus is God and God is Jesus)
Which is what I'm waiting for you to show Scripturally, .. right? Otherwise we could, like the J.W's did with "Gods-name", or how the Mormons did included the divinations of Mormo, Christians too can re-write the whole Bible accord to the Trinity. Here would be a few examples starting with Mathew 1

John 3:16 King James Version (KJV)
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son God, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

The rest is the Trinity Translation according to the gentile nation Rome, as approved by the Holiest of Fathers the Pope would go something like this:

Colossians 1:12 giving thanks to the Father-God who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light. 13 He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the God of His love, 14 in whom we have redemption through Gods blood, the forgiveness of sins. (for God shed His blood and died)
15 God is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16 For by God all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through God and for God.

19 For it pleased God that in God all the fullness should dwell, 20 and by God to reconcile all things to Himself, by God, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of Gods cross.


Now these next verses loose the core message through the Trinity:

Colossians 2:4 Now this I say lest anyone should deceive you with persuasive words. 5 For though I am absent in the flesh, yet I am with you in spirit, rejoicing to see your good order and the steadfastness of your faith in God.
6 As you therefore have received God the Lord, so walk in Him, 7 rooted and built up in God and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving.
8 Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to God. 9 For in God dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; 10 and you are complete in God, who is the head of all principality and power.

Colossians 3:If then you were raised with God, seek those things which are above, where God is, sitting at the right hand of God. 2 Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. 3 For you died, and your life is hidden with God in God. 4 When God who is our life appears, then you also will appear with God in glory.
.. 17 And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord God, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.

Don't you see, that if Jesus is God, then you make God turn into flesh/sin for us, shed His blood and died by the hands of the Romans who now call themselves Christians. Thus the Romans not only killed Jesus the son of God, but God Himself.
So with God dead, they can fill the gap with stories which they call scientific theories like the Big Bang and Evolution, creating a new Heaven (space full of planets) and a new earth (a spinning, evolving paper-globe) with apes created in their Gods image.

I pray to the Lord that you would see that this is blasphemy, all of it!

Arius, I gave you one scripture and you wanted more for you did not believe the scriptures I gave you. Yes,  GOD is Jesus and Jesus is GOD.

Jesus was a MAN at the time of His Crucifixion. "God was manifest in the Flesh".

Now you say that our Infinite and Eternal God can become all flesh and actually die? It's because how over the history the word Infinite was changed into a "size", instead of "I Am".
Look:

Infinite

1. limitless or endless in space, extent, or size; impossible to measure or calculate.

boundless, unbounded, unlimited, limitless, without limit, without end, never-ending

Once we think of God/Infinite as space, we loose our concept of God. Space has to have borders to be called "space"
How much space do you have left in your car, .. etc.

Think of Infinite as your Mind, for our mind/spirit is of God, it too is Infinite. You cannot fill your mind with things, never, there will always be room for more. You could think of infinite number of imaginary expanding universes and since our mind has no borders, it remains infinite.

Now think of a car, it's in your mind, and with your spirit you can check this car out, you can re-design it, enlarge it to any size, this proves that our mind is conscious. That "we exist" and it's separate of our limited body.

This is why God told Moses as to who He was: "I Am", because He Is The Conscious Infinite and Eternal Mind/Spirit
We are In God, meticulously created just like an engineer creates a car, or whatever, in his mind, and then, manifests it through Gods creation of materials we find in our little world. But God has to create every material atom by atom, design it and retain that info so it won't change. This is what we make inventions out of, the materials that God has created for us. These are set by rules
and laws. That's what reality is, that's what the physical universe, Heaven and earth and everything in it is made of, rules ans laws created by our Creator God.

Now imagine yourself, your spirit/mind without your body, you would be just spirit. You will still exist in God as information, only without a body, everything about you is retained in God/Spirit/Mind, .. who you are, and everything you have ever done or thought of is there in God/Infinite.
Now God will give us New bodies for our mind/spirit to possess, and a new place to dwell.

You see, once we understand God, we understand how silly it is to say God/Infinite/Mind can become flesh and die. Impossible.
But a created being can give up eternity, jump into time here on earth, ..  and age, and even be killed, which is really the ruining of the body beyond our mind/spirit ability to control it, like a wrecked car, nothing works on it anymore, then our spirit/mind just leaves it, since it's useless.
