Re: As A Man Thinketh...

While Christianity is lulled to sleep with each wonderful sermon from the Bible, another conspiracy is taking place in their subconscious, just like it shows in this video, the messages are subliminal, and are bombarding us from everywhere. So just as the subject of this video: Proverbs 23:7 "For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he:" we too have been conditioned to think a certain way. One major fall is that we were made to believe that Jesus was God.
It is not hard to take us to the next step of this Giant Conspiracy, for if Jesus was God, then the Roman Pontius Pilot under the Emperor Tiberius was able to kill God.
The implication of such a beliefe can be eternal to ones soul, eternal damnation that is.

I have the impression that we have similar views on religion (I hope that doesn't insult you!)…

Of course not, have you listened to George Carlin, or the best guy that I have ever heard on Religion was: Christopher Eric Hitchens, who was a British-American author, columnist, essayist, orator, journalist, and social critic. Hitchens was the author, co-author, editor or co-editor of over 30 books, including five collections of essays on culture, politics and literature.

.. whom I so wished to have debated just Once on his show, because the poor man, like his best friend Richard Dawkins were as ignorant about the Bible as they were about the Big-bang and their Evolution theories.
But they were right on with Religion.
My message is NOT against the Bible, and our Creator revealed in the Bible, but hoping to wake up the likes of Dawkins and Hitchens (and you my good man if you think like them) that using one ridiculous Religion (like the Big-Bang Evolution stories) to try to make fun of another Religion like Christianity is, well not as bright as they think they are. And boy them two are, or were proud (Hitchens is dead)
Just because they have a lot of follower, even in the millions, doesn't mean they shouldn't stop and think about their message, because it is out of sheer ignorance.

The following newsletter by Ben Williams reminds me of some of the things you posted:

You misunderstood me my friend, just as your friend Ben Williams here misunderstood the relationship between Bible-God and the gods in Religion

Quote
Ben Williams - Religions affect languages by inventing new words and redefining old words already in use. They need religious words and phrases to facilitate religious rhetoric. Special, often bizarre, words and phrases are employed to give voice to religious tenets.

In the realm of religion, words and phrases are often hijacked from the common vernacular and given new religious meanings that only work in religious venues.

I agree, especially in the Big-bang Evolution Religions, they rename things "falling" into non existent imaginary thing like "gravity", and make up all kinds of science fiction rhetoric like gravitons, crotons, string cheese theory, leptons, black and white holes, gravitational waves, bosons and a bunch of Star Trek bs. I'm sure you heard the latest, like that NASA discovered Tatooine, or their Star Wars Program, .. Lol. So yeah, I know what he means!

Quote
For example, the term “saved” means to be rescued from a bad, or potentially bad, situation. But the same word in religious realms can mean “qualified to go to heaven.”

Well that doesn't compute. In the Biblical sense, that is exactly what it means.
Look, like in baseball, when the ump yells; "Safe!" we don't take that to mean "it is safe to jump out of a seventh story window", right? I mean I doubt if the umpire seen this dead guy flattened on the cement would yell: "Safe!" right?
We have to keep things in their proper context.
In the context of the Bible according to Jesus teaching, "one saved" means he or she is qualified to go to heaven.
What did he say next?

Quote
Likewise, the word “worships" means to admire and honor someone. But in religious circles the term ‘worship” can mean “attending a church meeting.”

Or when your favorite football team makes a touchdown, I have seen sports fans actually bow down in worship before the Big-screen TV in the Sport Bar. So you see we could also say "worship means a touchdown made by your favorite Football Team". I'm sure you agree that for millions of fans, watching sport has become a Religion, right?

Quote
Religions require their own sets of words and phrases to facilitate their religious tenets. So they invent words and redefine words. Words of religion become code-like terms, supportive of their particular theologies. In time those religious code words gain general acceptance and are used in the common language. This affects entire cultures.
(...)

I mean yeah, .. of course! Just like with sports. Here is some Baseball language that effected entire cultures:

* 6-4-3 Double Play:  Shortstop to second, to first double play.
* Aboard:  Used to refer to “on base,” as in “there are 2 men aboard.”
* Ace:  Term used to refer to a top-notch starting pitcher.
* Alley:  Spaces in the field between the outfielders.
* Around the Horn:  When the fielders throw the ball around from 3rd, to 2nd to 1st during a double play OR when the catcher throws the ball down to third and the fielders toss it around after a strikeout OR when a hitter touches them all after a home run.

Quote
They are the words and phrases reinvented and/or redefined by priests and politicians. The public uses these words without knowing what the words mean. Thus a major part of our common language consists of words that have been changed from their original meanings and forgotten.

Yeah, sure, especially those who are not of the same belief, or Religion. Or like those who hate baseball would never know what those words (baseball slangs) really mean?

Quote
Americans, for the most part, have no idea what the words mean when they use them. In most cases people resort to popular terms and believe whatever the priests and politicians tell them the words mean.
https://www.lawfulpath.com/forum/download/file.php?id=334[/quote]

Oh come on, i wouldn't go as far as saying: "Americans, for the most part, have no idea what the words mean when they use them", .. that's silly.

For me the most interesting of Williams' remarks is that “Christ” was really the name for “Mithras” (that was the first time I heard that!).

.. or, Mithras was created as a False Christ, .. by people that hate baseball, .. I mean hate Jesus and the Bible!? Have you thought of that?
If you want a really good hate-Jesus film documentary, watch the YouTube "Zeitgeist" Hate-on-Jesus and hate-on-the-Bible is everywhere my friend, but most are distorted facts, made up stories written by people who truly hate God. Not because they believe He does not exist, right? No one would go into so much BS if they really didn't believe in God.
My suggestion is that you hear all things out, then investigate. Find out what's really behind their story? You will see that atheism is the biggest hypocritical Religion there is, hands down!

Christians were persecuted by the Romans like Jesus had predicted, while Christianity became ever more popular among the poor people. Then the Romans found a better way to pacify Christians: in the 4 century AD, Roman Emperor Constantine merged the teaching of Jesus with Judaism and Mithraism. So instead Christians fighting against the rich slavedrivers, they learned to respect the elite.

In reality, if you study the Roman Christian History is that Constantine took over, and copied the books of the Hebrew Prophets, both the OT and the Apostles writings, then took this word "Christian" that the gentiles used to mock the early Disciples of Christ, and added them to their pagan religions and idols. So yes, in the Original RCC-Christian Religion, they did make Jesus as Mithras, and their sun-god which is none other than Lucifer.
I don't think Judaism accepts Jesus yet, but yes, Christianity is a mix a little of all Religions.
There is a big difference between holding and preaching from the Bible and actually believing in it. Would you believe a Used-car Salesman if he swore on a stack of Bibles and quoted scripture?
No, right? You would go and check out the car yourself.

Yes, we as Believers and followers of the Way do respect and honor our rulers, no matter how much they make us suffer, or try to kill me, I mean us.

Quote
The Romans even made Jesus say that he supported taxes to the Roman mass murderers (give the emperor what is his) and made Pontius Pilate supposedly try to save Jesus from death (which Jesus then supposedly refused)...
Therefore the Pharisees sentenced Jesus Christ, their own messiah to Death at the hands of the Romans. Pontius Pilot washed His hands of the matter as He tried to save Jesus from harm. In the end, it was predestined that His soldiers carryout the wishes of the Pharisees over the Jewish synagogue.

You see my friend, God is God over Satan too, as he is over all the other gods who take life into their own hands and murder men, women and children with chemo therapy, or simply "put elderly down" just like sick or unwanted dogs right after they start collecting Social Security.
As for the Romans and the Pharisees, they were no different than our Military Rulers today, they both caused horrible suffering, and terrible crimes against humanity which soon they will have to face up to.

Seek the Lord my friend, but just so you know that "there are many false Christs out there", .. many denominations yelling: "He's here, .. no, he is over there!"
Read the Bible, if there is anything in there (not what some God hater atheist, or Religious Priest who want's to get you in his church told you) that you don't understand, hey, I'm here, I can maybe explain!? If not me, there is a lot of good info out there, all you have to do is look, seek, knock!

God bless you Firestarter.
